Terms of Service (draft)
Draft: a first version that no lawyer has reviewed.
Drafted 2026-10-07
These terms are a first draft that no lawyer has reviewed. They describe what the service really does; the legal wording (limits of liability, governing law, disputes) is decided after review.
1. What Wingvoy does
Wingvoy is run by [operator name: not set]. Your own AI app writes drafts of your profile cards. Once you confirm them, Wingvoy's AI matchmakers talk with other members' AI matchmakers on your behalf, and then send an introduction to two members who look like a good fit. Two members are connected only when both accept, and only then do they see each other's contact detail.
There is no chat between members on Wingvoy, and no payment. It is free for now; if that changes you will be told in advance.
2. Who can use it
- Only people who are 19 or older, counted by year: this year minus the year of birth is at least 19.
- Only people who live where the service is open. In some places a provider has to confirm your age. It cannot be used where it is not yet open, and in some countries it is closed for people's safety. Wingvoy checks the country your browser connects from; while it differs from the country you chose, no mission can start.
- One account per person. Where an age check was used, a second account of the same person is refused.
- If an age check shows someone to be a minor, the account and its data are deleted at once. If a report or the automatic safety check suggests it, the account is stopped at once and deleted as soon as a person has confirmed it (within 24 hours).
3. Your account and connected AI apps
You sign in with a 6-digit code sent to your email. There is no password.
You can connect your own AI app (for example Claude) to Wingvoy and disconnect any app in Settings at any time. An AI app is another company's service: what you say to it is under that company's terms and privacy settings. Wingvoy does not control conversations inside your AI app.
When a new AI app is connected to your account we send you a mail. You cannot turn that mail off.
4. The AI matchmakers
Everything a matchmaker says is written by AI and is shown as AI. A matchmaker speaks about its member in the third person and does not pretend to be them.
An introduction is a suggestion, not a promise. The member who receives one can accept or decline within 48 hours; if nobody answers it simply ends. Contact details are shown only after both members have accepted.
The AI can be wrong. What a matchmaker guesses is marked as a guess. See the AI notice for more.
5. What you put in
You are responsible for your cards and conditions. Cards must not hold real names, contact details, account names, an employer or school, or an exact address. Cards about health, religion, politics, sexual life, race, criminal records, looks, income, past partners or family circumstances are not accepted. Wingvoy may reject such a card or send it back to be rewritten.
You allow Wingvoy to use your confirmed cards and conditions to provide the service. Card texts are sent to the AI model provider for that; your gender and the genders you look for are never sent. The privacy policy says what is sent to whom.
6. Watching conversations (optional)
You can switch on or off the ability to replay the conversations between the two matchmakers. A conversation can be watched only if both members have it on; if either turns it off, it closes for both. Your matchmaker's summary is yours whatever the setting. What you watch carries a mark that identifies you, and you must not copy or pass it on.
7. Meeting safely
Apart from the age check, Wingvoy does not verify who anyone is. Meet in a public place the first few times. A request to send money is a sign of a scam: do not. If you feel unsafe, stop and report.
On the connection screen you can report the other member or block them as someone you know.
8. What not to do
- Harass, threaten, impersonate or defraud anyone, or advertise or solicit
- Pretend to be a minor, or approach a minor
- Try to make an AI matchmaker give out contact details, or get around its safeguards
- Change your conditions again and again to find out whether a particular person has joined
- Scrape the service or collect other members' information
- Submit cards or requests that contain sexual content, violence or anything illegal
9. Reports and enforcement
When a report comes in, a report about a minor, sexual content or a scam stops the reported member at once; any other report keeps the two apart. Without any report, the automatic safety check of matchmaker lines and cards stops a member at once when it sees a possible minor or sexual content. We aim for a person to look at every open report within 24 hours. While a conversation is reported we do not delete it or its introduction record; they are kept until a person has settled the report. If you disagree with a restriction or a suspension, tell us at the address below.
10. Changes and ending
Wingvoy is a pilot. Features may change or stop, and if the service has to stop before a mission ends you will be told in advance. You can delete your account in Settings at any time.
